Human Computer Interaction

What do we promise

What is HCI?

Human Computer Interaction (HCI) is a main branch of Product Design that deals with Human Factors, Cognitive Ability and Memory Retention principles. At Modeva, we keep 'Users' at the centre of the product design and understand software design from their perspective. This branch of HCI is also referred to as 'user centred design' (UCD).

Product Design

We follow two laws of product design at Modeva as given by Jef Raskin, in his book: The Human Interface. These laws are based on laws of robotics and Artificial Intelligence:
  • A computer shall not harm your work or, through inactivity, allow your work to come to harm.
  • A computer shall not waste your time or require you to do more work than is strictly necessary.

Usability Testing

We perform Usability testing with members of the target user group to evaluate the degree to which a product meets specific usability criteria. Usability testing is conducted to increase the profitability of the products by making them easier to use.
